Taxi Head on Collision injures 14 people in KZN


A head-on collision last night between a taxi and bakkie on the Dinkleman Highway in New Germany, KwaZulu Natal, left fourteen people injured.

ER24 paramedics were alerted to the scene and, on their arrival, they found both vehicles had swerved off to the side of the road and collided.


On assessment of the scene, paramedics found that fourteen people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Most of the patients had come from the taxi.

Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to nearby hospitals for further medical treatment.

The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
