Boy Stabbed to Death at a Cape Town School


A 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death at a school in Bishop Lavis, Cape Town, Western Cape police said on Thursday.

The teenager, from Matroosfontein, was found with a stab wound to the neck around 11:00 on Wednesday, said Captain Frederick van Wyk.

He said witnesses claimed the boy was stabbed by a 17-year-old pupil and died on the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the stabbing were unclear.

Van Wyk said a murder case was opened and no arrests had yet been made.
