South Africa’s national football head coach, Ephraim “Shakes” Mashaba, has become the latest victim of crime

Thugs broke into his car, stole two cellphones and a laptop on Thursday evening in Johannesburg.
The incident happened in Melville, which is a few metres away from Milpark. This is where SABC contributing editor, Vuyo Mvoko and his crew got mugged last week.
Speaking to Metro FM’s Robert Marawa during an interview last night, Mashaba said he entered a fast food outlet in Auckland Park, Johannesburg.
He said he was inside “for a few minutes” but when he returned he found his car had been broken into.
Mashaba said he believes the suspects used remote jammers to gain access to his vehicle.
“A number of personal items were stolen, among them my two cellphones and a laptop,” he said.
